Canadair CL-13B Sabre Mk.6
Canadair CL-13B Sabre Mk.6 - c/n 1659 - Modex KE+105 - Deutsches Museum - Munich, Germany - February 2004
This Sabre Mk.6 was license-built in Canada in 1957 and served as a flight test chase plane with Luftwaffe E-Stelle 61 at Manching and also with EWR Süd (Dornier)
It joined Deutsches Museum in 1971 and was restored by LwVersRgt1 in 1992. There seems to be some confusion about serials and construction numbers.
Deutsches Museum quotes c/n 56-1659, which as an USAF serial was allocated to a Lockheed T-33A-1. The Scramble database claims s/n KE+105 is fake.
Siegfried Wache (F-40) quotes c/n 1659 and serial numbers JD+120, BB+293, KE+105, and 0105 with a bogus JD+105 serial applied by the museum in the 1970s.
